Pleasantly surprised!!!

I have to say that at first I was a little skeptical, but I ordered it anyway. When l received the trucut pads and conditioner, l got to work on my bowling balls. I was truly surprised on the way that they turned out. You'll pay a bit more for CTD products but it's good quality stuff.

Best pads in the industry and it’s not even close.

I wish they lasted longer. I only get two uses out of a pad

Love the CTD Sanding pads and Life After Death

I really like that this product is specifically designed for bowling balls and not also used in the automotive and woodworking industry. I prefer the 6 inch pad over the 5 inch pad because I feel like I have more control over the surfacing process. I used the Polish Your Ball Sanding cup because it feels better in my hand and I can use it for both sanding and polishing my bowling balls. Perhaps CTD will come up with an equivalent or better product than the Polish Your Ball product. I also wish there was an easy way to identify when a pad should be replaced. It would be nice if the pad would give a visible que that it is time to replace the pad, or have it incorporate little punch dots you could remove from the pad to remind yourself of how many times you've used the pad. Typically after use, I wash my pad, let it dry and by that time I forget to put a sharpie tick mark or something to remind me that I've used the pad "x" times. My understanding that a CTD sanding pad cuts true for about eight uses and after that it will cut at a higher grit number? Anyway, it would be nice for us customers to have the product tell us when to get new ones (like tire tread wear markers on a tire). That would be good for CTD sales and would keep the customer's bowling balls with a more reliable method of keeping their bowling balls at a known grit without a surface scanner. Also, is there a reason why CTD doesn't offer an 800 or 2500 Grit CTD Sanding pad(s)? Perhaps do a survey to see if customers are interested in those grits?

Also, with respect to the Life After Death product, I used to be able to order four 32oz bottles in a kit, for the same price as your gallon jug, but that option no longer exists which is unfortunate because a gallon jug is really unwieldy and less practical than four, 32oz bottles. Also since having a one gallon jug of LAD, implies you'll using it to fill smaller containers (i.e. 32 oz bottles you have or the 7 oz spray bottle) it would be nice if these smaller containers had a small clear/transparent horizontal section from the bottom to the top of the bottle, so you can easily tell how full the bottle is - especially when you're refilling the smaller bottles. Or, make the bottle clear in color instead of black so you can easily see how much product is in the bottle. Since you can't see how full it is and it tends to produce bubbles that more product you put in the bottles, you tend to over fill the bottles thereby spilling product, which is not good.
Thank you for making great products.

Sincerely,

Mark
